As the guys from Gizmochina tell us, echoing an information posted on Twitter by the well-known leaker Roland Quant, the Samsung Galaxy M22 has already been officially launched by the Korean brand after appearing in the official website of Samsung Germany unveiling both its design and all its specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy M22 has dimensions very similar to those of the Galaxy A52s with measurements of 159.9 x 7 x 8.4 millimeters and with a weight of 186 grams, but maintains the design of its predecessor, the Galaxy M21, at least in its front part, with a fairly pronounced bottom bezel and a drop-type notch where your front camera is housed 13 megapixels with an f / 2.2 focal aperture. Since, in its rear part, Samsung bets on this new model for a square module of cameras with the flash at the bottom, instead of placing the cameras vertically as we saw in the Galaxy M21.
Regarding its technical characteristics, the Samsung Galaxy M22 is equipped with a large 6.4-inch screen with HD + resolution 1600 x 720 pixels, with a 90 Hz refresh rate and with a 20: 9 aspect ratio.
This new low-mid-range terminal is powered by a processor signed by MediaTek, specifically the Helio G80, an 8-core gaming processor that comes accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable by microSD cards of up to 1 TB capacity.
In the photographic section, the Samsung Galaxy M22 has a quadruple rear camera module where the protagonist is a 48 megapixel main sensor with a focal aperture f / 2.0. This main camera relies on three secondary sensors to improve the quality of the photographs: a sensor 8 megapixel ultra wide angle with a focal aperture f / 2.2 and an angle of view of 123º, a 2 megapixel depth sensor with a focal aperture f / 2.4 and, finally, a macro sensor with the same resolution and the same focal aperture as the previous one.
One of the most outstanding sections of all the mid-range devices of the Korean manufacturer is its autonomy, and this Galaxy M22 is not going to be an exception because it is equipped with a 5,000 mAh large battery with 25W fast charge.
This new smartphone from the Galaxy M series is also not short on connectivity because it has Dual SIM 4G (triple tray for two nano-SIM and one microSD), Wifi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Beiodou, Galileo, fingerprint reader on the side, USB-C 2.0 and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
As an operating system, the Samsung Galaxy M22 has Android 11 running under your own customization layer, One UI.
Samsung Galaxy M22: availability and prices
We still do not know both the availability and the price of the Samsung Galaxy M22, but, everything seems to indicate that after landing on the Samsung website in Germany, it will soon reach other European countries, including Spain, with a price lower than 250 euros.
What we do know is that it will come with a single memory version, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, and that will be available in three colors: blue, white and black.
