Netflix finally released the release date of the third and last season from Narcos: Mexico. It will be from the next November 5th when the audience will be able to retake the history of the power struggle for the control of drug trafficking in Mexico. Of course, the panorama changed significantly after the arrest of Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna), who for many years dominated drug trafficking in the Aztec country.
Taking advantage of such an important announcement, the platform also shared the first trailer of Narcos: Mexico, season 3. The preview makes it clear that, far from ending the violence with the arrest of the also known as “Chief of bosses”, the situation worsened in much of Mexico. And it is that Félix Gallardo left empty a place that many other capos coveted for a long time. His goal, then, was to take the throne no matter what obstacles might come his way.
The synopsis from Narcos: MexicoSeason 3 tells us: “Set in the 1990s, as the globalization of the drug business ignited, the third season examines the war that erupts after Felix’s arrest. As the newly independent cartels struggle to survive the upheaval. politics and the escalation of violence, a new generation of Mexican bosses emerges. The third season of Narcos: Mexico boasts a luxury cast
With the exception of Diego Luna, much of the distribution from the previous season of Narcos: Mexico is back: José María Yázpik, Scoot McNairy, Alfonso Dosal, Mayra Hermosillo and Matt Letscher, Manuel Masalva, Alejandro Edda and Gorka Lasaosa. However, they also opened the doors to new actors, highlighting the presence of Luis Gerardo Mendez and, of course, by Benito Antonio Martínez ‘Bad Bunny’, whose participation was already known.
Luis Gerardo Méndez will put himself at the feet of Víctor Tapia, a Ciudad Juárez policeman who will have to decide whether or not to collaborate with drug trafficking. For its part, ‘Bad Bunny’ will be part of the “Narco Juniors”, the group led by Ramón Arellano Félix. Other new additions are those of Alberto Guerra, who will play Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada, current leader of the Sinaloa Cartel. Too Luisa rubino, who will play the journalist Andrea Nuñez.
